The Women in Stem mixer is meant to be an open space for current female STEM students to reach out to others who have been through or are going through a similar college experience. We are inviting our alumnae in STEM alumni and students to co-mingle and discuss their experiences from their own perspective fields.
Drop by the event to meet our students, answer questions, show support, and make connections. Who better to help our students than those who have walked the path before them.
Volunteers will be asked to interact with students at the event. In an effort to help students effectively network, and encourage them to follow up with folks, we ask that our alumni provide business cards, or other contact information (when comfortable to share) with our students. They will have a BINGO card to collect information of those they meet if business cards are not available.
