About the program: Join us as we raise a glass and toast the grads for their hard work, and in celebration as they join the CSUF Alumni family. This short program brings grads together for a few toasts and a class photo the Friday before commencement. It's a time to bring their loved ones to the campus, and grab memorable photos with them in a place they've called home for the last few years.
This event sees over 1,000 registered guests which include families and friends who have never visited the campus. Let us give them and their graduating students a warm welcome and celebration they won't forget!
Volunteer assignments may include:
- Registration table: Checking-in grads and their loved ones
- Thank You table: Helping students fill out thank you cards they can send to faculty/staff/advisors
- Promo Item tables: Passing out buttons to all graduating students, and gifts to new members of the Alumni Association
- Guest welcome: Welcoming guests into the venue space and directing them to the different stations
- Photo/Media coverage: Grabbing photos and videos of groups and the event to use for live event coverage and post-event recap
- Set up: Help us drop linen and get signage up
- Clean up:: Packing up and pulling linen
When signing up, please include in the notes if you're able to be there the entire time (4:00PM-8:00PM) or if you will only be able to volunteer for a portion of the event.
