Description

Psychology Pathways, a 5-year research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) is seeking STEM professionals with Psychology backgrounds to serve as volunteer mentors.

Mentors will be asked to video-record a "virtual mentor" (conversational virtual agent) to share stories about their career path with psychology students at CSUF and beyond, as part of a STEM outreach intervention/study.

Volunteers video-record interviews for their virtual mentor on a self-serve web platform, with the recording process taking an estimated 12-15 hours.

We are seeking professionals working in STEM with training in Psychology. It would be particularly helpful if alumni have degrees in or are working in the following areas:

  • Experimental Psychology
  • Quantitative Psychology
  • Rehabilitation Psychology
  • Industrial and Organizational Psychology
  • Human Factors and Engineering Psychology
  • Sports Psychology

By signing up, you are expressing interest in this program. Please note that we cannot accommodate all volunteers and will be reaching out to you directly to confirm your participation or get more information.

For more details regarding the program, please reach out to Dr. Yuko Okado at yokado@fullerton.edu
