Volunteer: FALL 2025: Host a dinner for students (Dinner with 12 Titans)About Dinner with 12 Titans: Our signature program Dinner with 12 Titans (D12) brings students and alumni around the table over a shared Titan experience. While workshops, panels, and formal networking events are great ways to connect, D12 is a space for Titans across generations to come together over casual conversation. No set questions or strict program to follow. This is an opportunity for Titans to learn about one another, build their network, and share tips and tricks on navigating college and professional path. What to expect when signing up: By responding to this opportunity, you are letting us know of your interest in hosting a meal where students can join and ask questions. - You are not committing to a meal until you have a chance to connect with staff, ask questions, and understand what the program might look for you. Volunteers who decide to become a host would be responsible for the cost of the meal Host determine how many guests they can accommodate (6-12)Hosts costs are between $10-30 per person. To keep costs low we suggest co-hosting with another CSUF alumni, faculty member, or going the Costco/Sams Club route of pizzas or frozen lasagnas.If you are interested in co-hosting with another alumni please indicate so in the notes.Meals and dietary accommodations are up to the discretion of the host When confirmed as a host, volunteers will be able to communicate: Number of guests they can accommodate Date and time of when they want to host during the designated weekend (October 4 through October 5) Types of meals they are or are not able to accommodate (vegan, lactose, etc.) If they are going to co-host with another person The Designated Site Supervisor will contact folks to coordinate details and answer questionsIf you have additional questions before signing up, feel free to schedule a call with the Designated Site Supervisor: https://calendly.com/jtbudisantoso Preferred Skills, Attributes, Competencies: Minimum 2 years professional experience in current industry Comfortable carrying conversation and engaging guests Willingness to guide students Ability to speak on navigating a job search or transitioning into a first role Optional: ability to speak on pursuing/considering grad school UNABLE TO HOST THIS YEAR?
